Dragon Ball Launches First Global Character Popularity Poll “DRAGON BALL THE ONE”

212 characters enter the battle.

Akira Toriyama’s “DRAGON BALL” has launched its first-ever global character popularity poll, titled “DRAGON BALL THE ONE,” today, November 20th, on a dedicated website. The voting will take place in a survival-style format across four stages.

There are 212 characters eligible for voting, and this number decreases as the competition advances through each stage. After every stage, a repechage match will be held on X, where one previously eliminated character will be revived and allowed to progress to the next round.

The voting period for the Final Stage, in which the top 21 characters compete for first place, will run from noon on December 17 until 11:59 p.m. on December 24.

The final rankings will be revealed on January 24, 2026, during a special broadcast on the official Dragon Ball YouTube channel.
