Doraemon’s 45th Anime Film Dives Back to the Undersea Devil

45th installment scheduled for 2026 in Japan.

The Doraemon film series will return to familiar waters next year with its 45th installment, a retelling of Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil (1983). The original film followed Nobita, Doraemon, and friends on an adventure through the legendary underwater kingdoms of Mu and Atlantis.

While details on how closely the new movie will follow the 1983 storyline remain under wraps, a teaser and key visual promise an epic oceanic journey for Doraemon fans old and new.
