Detective Conan The Mountain Princess of Yakushima Two-Part Special Announced!

The original two-part episode of the TV anime Case Closed (Detective Conan), titled “The Mountain Princess of Yakushima”, is set to air soon. Part 1 will premiere on February 15, followed by Part 2 on February 22. To celebrate the occasion, a commemorative visual has been unveiled.

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan manga, known as Case Closed in English by Viz Media, debuted in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. As of October 2024, the series spans 106 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation premiered in 1996, followed by the release of the first anime film in 1997.

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
