Demon Slayer Manga Surpasses 220 Million Copies Worldwide

A global phenomenon.

The total global circulation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, spanning all 23 volumes, has surpassed 220 million copies. This milestone was announced in a commercial aired immediately after the broadcast of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc: Gathering Edition on Fuji TV on July 17. The figure includes 164 million copies circulated in Japan and 56 million overseas.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba vol. 23:

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba began serialization in issue 11 of Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) in 2016 and concluded in issue 24 of the magazine in 2020. The series has since been adapted into a highly successful TV anime and film franchise. Tomorrow, on July 18, the latest installment “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part 1 Movie” will premiere in theaters across Japan.
