Crunchyroll has announced the nominees for the 9th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the largest awards program celebrating the art of Japanese animation and beyond. Fans worldwide can visit the official Crunchyroll Anime Awards website to cast their votes daily until April 14 at 11:59 p.m. PT for their favorite anime.
Votes from fans around the world help determine the winners from the list of nominees below. Voting is simple and more accessible than ever.
Crunchyroll also unveils a first list of anime-loving presenters for the pre-show and ceremony. More names will be announced soon. The first celebrities announced, who will present the winners on Sunday May 25, include:
- Finn Wolfhard – Canadian director, musician, and actor who plays Mike in Stranger Things
- Gaten Matarazzo – American actor best known for his role as Dustin in Stranger Things
- Chocolate Planet -Comedy duo made up of Shohei Osada and Shun Matsuo
- DEAN FUJIOKA – Japanese actor, musician and talent
- Kanata Hongo – Japanese actor known for live-action adaptations of anime, including Attack on Titan and The Prince of Tennis
- Mayu Matsuoka – Japan Academy Award-winning actress known for roles in The Kirishima Thing and Amachan
- Saya Ichikawa – Japanese model, newscaster and talent
- Pabllo Vittar – Award-winning Brazilian pop icon
- Ben Whittaker – English professional boxer
- Damiano David – Italian singer-songwriter
- Ironmouse – Demon Queen VTuber
- d4vd – American recording artist
- Rina Sawayama – Musician and actor in John Wick: Chapter 4
- Chloe Kim – American Olympic snowboarder
- Plastique Tiara – Top global drag star
- Paloma Mami – American-Chilean singer
- Gigguk – Pioneering YouTube content creator and co-host of Trash Taste
Hiroki Totoki, President and CEO of Sony Group, will give the opening remarks at the live Anime Awards ceremony, which will be hosted by voice actress Sally Amaki and renowned entertainer Jon Kabira.
You can cast your vote every day until April 14 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The results will be revealed during the 2025 Anime Awards live ceremony on Sunday, May 25, and will also be shared through a global fan livestream.
