Newtype and Crunchyroll News are collaborating to release a special edition issue for New York Comic Con 2024! This exclusive issue, featuring custom artwork for two eagerly awaited anime titles from Madhouse, OLM, and TOHO animation, will be available for free at the event while supplies last.
Attendees will be able to locate them at the following venues:
- The Crunchyroll booth — Javits Center (Booth 1643)
- Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Screening — AMC34, October 18 at 7:00 PM
- Crunchyroll Industry Panel — Room 405, October 18 at 6:30 PM
- Overlord Panel — Room 409, October 19 at 12:15 PM
The front cover will showcase fresh, original artwork for Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, while the back cover highlights custom illustrations from The Apothecary Diaries.
The special 16-page edition will feature exclusive anime artwork, along with interviews with notable staff members like Naoyuki Ito, director of Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, and Norihiro Naganuma, director of The Apothecary Diaries.
Additionally, at the Overlord panel hosted by Crunchyroll, director Naoyuki Ito will be giving away a special signed edition of the collaboration magazine.
