The 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards are heating up with the announcement of new musical performances and celebrity presenters ahead of the May 25 ceremony in Tokyo, Japan. This year’s awards broke records with 51 million votes cast.
The main event will feature live musical performances from:
- Creepy Nuts – Performing tracks from MASHLE and DAN DA DAN, including the viral hit “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born”
- FLOW – Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Eureka Seven with a performance of “DAYS”
- LiSA – Returning to the stage with “Gurenge”, the iconic opening from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba



Also announced are new celebrity presenters, including:
- J Balvin, GRAMMY-nominated music star
- Kacey Musgraves, GRAMMY-winning singer and songwriter, recently inspired by anime on her track “Anime Eyes”
- Zak Penn, screenwriter of Free Guy and Ready Player One



The event will be hosted by voice actor Sally Amaki (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) and entertainer Jon Kabira, beginning with a pre-show at 5:00 p.m. JST and main ceremony at 6:00 p.m. JST.
Fans worldwide can tune in via Crunchyroll’s YouTube and Twitch, as well as Sony Pictures Core and Sony’s Global YouTube channels, with multilingual support in 9 languages including English, Japanese, French, Arabic, and more.
