Anime fans have made their voices heard! With over 34 million votes cast by the community worldwide (nearly double last year’s 18 million), the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 today revealed a slate of musical performances, including YOASOBI and Shing02 performing some of the fans’ favorite tracks, alongside other celebrity presenters including wrestling legend Mercedes Varnado, American soccer star DeMarcus Lawrence and actress, singer and model Chiaki Kuriyama.
A unique theme song has been created especially for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The song was created by composer and music producer Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack of the Titans, Solo Leveling) and composer, arranger and lyricist Kohta Yamamoto (Attack of the Titans, Seven Deadly Sins); they will perform the song live at the ceremony, in its entirety and for the first time. The show’s signature song will be available to stream on Crunchyroll after the conclusion of the Anime Awards.

The Anime Awards will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024, with a live ceremony hosted by dubbing actress Sally Amaki and presenter Jon Kabira. Fans can watch the live broadcast on Crunchyroll’s YouTube and Twitch channels!
