Production has been confirmed for the latest installment in the Code Geass franchise, titled “Code Geass: Hoshi Oi no Aspar” The project brings together director Kazuya Nomura, series composer Mado Nozaki, character designer Rolua, and Agarmatha designer Yoshi.
The announcement comes as the Code Geass series approaches its 20th anniversary in 2026. The new project was revealed during the “Code Geass Project ‘To 20th’ Event“, which kicked off today, December 7.

Additionally, Code Geass: Rosé of the Recapture, currently streaming exclusively on Disney Plus, will begin airing on TV in Japan starting in July. Further details regarding the broadcasting network will be announced later on the official website and social media channels.

Additionally, exhibitions celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Code Geass franchise will take place in Tokyo in September and in Osaka in November. It was also announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion are collaborating in honor of Gundam Wing’s 30th anniversary, with a manga project by Tomofumi Ogasawara currently in development.
The main visual for the upcoming musical stage play Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Seido ni Jyunzuru Kishi 2 has also been unveiled. The musical stage play will run in Osaka from January 23 to 25, and in Tokyo from January 29 to February 1. In addition, a 20th Anniversary Exhibition is scheduled to open in Tokyo in September 2026, followed by an Osaka showing in November 2026.

Additionally, to celebrate the launch of the Code Geass 20th Anniversary Project, all 50 episodes of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV series will be made available for free on the franchise’s official YouTube channel starting December 28.
Furthermore, a new illustrated drama series titled eCode Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Ashford Academy Student Council Channel TUBE!e, presented as if it were a video channel run by Lelouch and the other student council members, will debut on December 15.

Due to an impregnable wall of energy called the Situmpe Wall, for four years the 100th emperor who stopped the Black Knights’ liberation plan, Callis al Britannia, has been trying to plunge the world into chaos once again with the help of his servant, Norland, and his Einberg Knights. Upon receiving a request, Rozé and Ash, along with the Seven Shining Stars resistance group confront the Empire to recapture Princess Sakuya.
