Chiikawa Anime Film Release Set for July 24 in Japan, First Trailer Released

"Siren Arc", one of the best feature-length episodes of the original work.

The release date for the theatrical anime movie Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu, created by Nagano, has been set for July 24. A special report featuring the main trailer has also been released. The film will adapt the manga story arc commonly known as the “Siren Arc” or “Island Arc”.

Produced by CygamesPictures and directed by Kei Oikawa, the movie will feature Haruka Aoki, Makoto Tanaka, and Ari Ozawa reprising their roles as Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, just like in the TV anime series.
