The TV anime Champignon Witch, based on the manga by Tachibana Higuchi, is set to premiere on January 8, 2026. The series will kick off with a one-hour special, airing the first two episodes back-to-back. It was also announced that Shoya Chiba will be joining the cast in additional roles.

Champignon Witch tells the story of Luna, a feared sorceress known as the Mushroom Witch. Her nickname stems from the toxic mushrooms that mysteriously bloom wherever she goes, leaving a trail of dread and fascination.
