Box office results for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc (released on September 19) have been announced. The film has attracted over 5.21 million viewers and earned more than 7.9 billion yen in just 46 days since its release. With these figures, it has officially entered Japan’s all-time box office top 100, ranking 91st, according to the Box Office News Agency.
The film opened in 421 theaters across Japan and attracted 272,000 viewers on its first day, earning over 420 million yen at the box office. According to distributor Toho, the film’s debut was considered a strong start toward a projected total of 5 billion yen. However, it surpassed that target in less than a month after its release.

INTRODUCTION:
“Chainsaw Man” is a manga serialized in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” that has sold over 30,000,000 copies. STORY:
Denji (Kikunosuke Toya) became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima (Tomori Kusunoki), the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain and meets a girl called Reze (Reina Ueda). The girl, who works at a nearby café, gives him a gentle smile, and they quickly grow close. From this encounter onward, Denji’s everyday life begins to change.
The first season of Chainsaw Man was a huge success, with memorable characters and a unique aesthetic. VIZ Media releases the manga in English, Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
