Cells at Work Live Action Film Adds More Cast Members!

The upcoming live-action film adaptation of Akane Shimizu‘s Cells at Work! has announced four new cast members ahead of its December 13 theatrical release in Japan.

Cast Visual:

Koji Yamamoto as Killer T Cell, Riisa Naka as Natural Killer Cell, Wakana Matsumoto as Macrophage, Maika Pugh as Platelet.

The film is directed by Hideki Takeuchi with a screenplay by Yuichi Tokunaga. Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine from January 2015 to January 2021 and released in six volumes. The TV anime adaptation aired for two seasons between 2018 and 2021.
