A special visual commemorating the 9th anniversary of the Bungo Stray Dogs TV anime has been released. In the lead-up to next year’s 10th anniversary, a series of celebratory projects will take place between July and September.
The first season of Bungo Stray Dogs premiered on April 7, 2016. With just one year to go before the 10th anniversary, the franchise is entering a year-long “pre-celebration” phase filled with various projects.
9th Anniversary Visual:

In celebration of Atsushi Nakajima’s favorite dish, ochazuke (tea over rice), a special collaboration campaign with Dashichazuke En will be held at all locations from August 5 to September 15. Further details will be revealed at a later date.

Animate is celebrating the “Bunsto Autumn Festival” with a special focus on the 9th anniversary and the Kyushu region. A newly drawn illustration features the Port Mafia group on a trip to Kyushu. Merchandise based on this artwork including acrylic stands, badges, mini trunk cases, and locker key-style keychains will be released gradually starting September 12 at all Animate stores, including international branches and the Animate online store. Additionally, select stores in the Kyushu area will also exhibit standy panels.

An “Animate Only Shop” will be held to commemorate the 9th anniversary. The event will take place at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store in Tokyo from September 20 to October 5, and at Animate Umeda in Osaka from October 11 to 26. Fans will be welcomed by a special anniversary standee, and exclusive merchandise such as acrylic stands and can badges featuring the 9th anniversary visuals will be available for purchase.
Additionally, the event will include a mini exhibition showcasing Bar Lupin from Episode 13, “The Dark Age”, and Urbachi Street from Episode 26, “Dazai, Chuuya, Fifteen Years Old.”
Anime Key Visual:

Crunchyroll is currently streaming all five seasons of Bungo Stray Dogs, a series that follows the adventures of individuals gifted with supernatural abilities:
Kicked out of his orphanage and on the verge of starving to death, Nakajima Atsushi meets some strange men. One of them, Dazai Osamu, is a suicidal man attempting to drown himself in broad daylight. The other, bespectacled Kunikida Doppo, nervously stands by flipping through a notepad. Both are members of the “Armed Detective Agency” said to solve incidents that even the military and police won’t touch. Atsushi ends up accompanying them on a mission to eliminate a man-eating tiger that’s been terrorizing the population…
