A production video has been unveiled for the TV anime Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk, adapted from the original manga. The series is scheduled to air in April 2026.
The video was revealed during the “Japan Anime Trend Awards 2025“, which streamed today, December 26, on ABEMA. This marks the first time that main animation cuts from the anime have been shown publicly. Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana is a story centered on Botan Kamiina, a 20-year-old first-year university student. The anime depicts the days when seniors who live in the same dormitory as Botan communicate with each other through alcohol. Many alcoholic beverages such as Japan sake, whiskey, and wine appear in the film, and there are plenty of depictions of various cultures that can be enjoyed with alcohol, such as music and movies.
