BLUELOCK Movie -EPISODE Nagi- Reveals New Visual and New Character!

The prequel film premieres in spring 2024 in Japan!

The wait for “BLUELOCK Movie -EPISODE Nagi-” is becoming increasingly unbearable for soccer fans the world over. Today, a new official visual of the movie has been unveiled, revealing a never-before-seen look at what promises to be a moving show starring Nagi and Reo!

Also, a new character makes an appearance, the casting of Subaru Kimura (Todo in JUJUTSU KAISEN) as original character Ryo Nameoka – captain of the team Nagi and Reo played against in their first high school soccer match.

The anime is based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. BLUELOCK is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe (episode director of Haikyu!!) and assistant-directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa (episode director of Sword Art Online Alicization) at studio eightbit.
