A new trailer and poster for the live-action movie adaptation of Blue Period, written by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, have been released. Directed by Kentaro Hagiwara, the film is set to premiere in Japan on August 9th!
In addition, the theme song was decided to be “NOISE” by WurtS. You can hear some of the tracks in this trailer.

Blue Period, the studious Yatora leaves a dry life of study and good manners behind for a new passion: painting. But untethering yourself from all your past expectations is dangerous as well as thrilling. Serialization began in June 2017 in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon, and the manga has been published up to 15 volumes. In addition to winning the Manga Grand Prize 2020, it was adapted into a TV anime in 2021 and a stage adaptation in 2022.
