During Crunchyroll’s industry panel at Anime Expo 2025, a brand-new season Black Clover anime series was officially announced. A teaser visual and trailer were released along with the announcement.
Studio Pierrot will remain the animation studio for the upcoming season, while Crunchyroll has officially confirmed it will stream the series.

Black Clover, created by Yūki Tabata, first launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015. After nearly nine years in the magazine, the manga moved to Jump Giga in December 2023. As of now, 36 volumes have been released in Japan.
The anime adaptation was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara. It aired from October 2017 to March 2021, running for a total of 170 episodes.
In March 2023, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, an anime movie based on the series, premiered in Japan. The film features an original story supervised by Tabata himself.
