BANDAI SPIRITS’ dinosaur plastic model series Plannosaurus is being adapted into an animated project. Titled “Plannosaurus Gachi Koseibutsu”, the series will air as a short 5-minute anime starting in July 2026.
A promotional video introducing the characters and dinosaurs from the show has also been released. The theme song, “Gachi de Kosei” is performed by LINKL PLANET.

Originally launched in January 2023, Plannosaurus is a plastic model line designed to help fans better understand the structure and mechanics of dinosaur bodies by assembling both the skeleton and outer skin step by step. Developed as an original Bandai Spirits IP, the line combines model building with educational elements.
The anime “Plannosaurus Gachi Koseibutsu” will be a paleontology-themed comedy, built around the idea that viewers can learn about dinosaurs while watching. The project aims to create entertaining and educational content that sparks children’s curiosity and interest in science.
