BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai has revealed a striking new artwork showing Baki Hanma facing Miyamoto Musashi. The anime, produced by TMS Entertainment, will premiere worldwide on Netflix on February 26.
The image, by Sapporo artist KOJIMAN, mixes traditional ukiyo-e style with modern street culture. It reimagines the famous “Battle of Ganryujima” between Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro as a modern fight between the legendary swordsman and the strongest underground fighter.

A special YouTube livestream, “Anime BAKI-DOU: Pre-Release Special — The Ultimate Behind-the-Scenes Stories, Finally Revealed!!”, will air on February 20 at 8:00 PM JST, featuring voice actors Nobunaga Shimazaki (Baki Hanma) and Naoya Uchida (Miyamoto Musashi), along with producers from Akita Shoten and TMS Entertainment.
