Yusei Matsui’s Assassination Classroom is returning to the big screen with a brand-new film titled Assassination Classroom The Movie: Minna no Jikan. Based on the original anime, the movie is set to premiere in theaters across Japan on March 20, 2026. A teaser visual and special promotional video have already been released.
This movie marks the third and final project of the “Assassination Classroom Anime 10th Anniversary” initiative, celebrating 10 years since the anime first aired. The new film contains a full collection of episodes that were left out of the anime due to time constraints, with the original TV series cast returning to reprise their roles.

Assassination Classroom anime originally premiered on January 9, 2015. The original manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2012 to 2016, with total circulation surpassing 27 million copies.
As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, all 47 episodes of the TV anime “Assassination Classroom” will be rebroadcast, alongside a special program titled “Assassination Classroom All Night Nippon GOLD.“

A tentacle-d sensei that moves at Mach 20 is out to conquer the classroom after destroying seventy percent of the moon. Should some eager beaver prove to be a quick study in killing, he or she will save Earth from extinction – and collect a hefty reward.
