An anime adaptation of Makiburo’s novel Akuyaku Reijou no Naka no Hito has been officially announced. However, further details regarding the cast, staff, and release date have yet to be revealed.

Akuyaku Reijou no Naka no Hito tells the story of Emi, who is reincarnated as Remilia, the villainess of an otome game. After being falsely accused and condemned by the game’s heroine who believed she was helping Remilia’s original self regains control of her body and begins to take revenge for Emi. The series has surpassed 2 million copies in circulation, and its sixth and final volume will be released on June 25.
