The official website for Aikatsu! Memorial Stage has released a trailer for the first compilation film in the series, titled Aikatsu! Memorial Stage ~Kagayaki no Unit Cup (“Shining Unit Cup)~. The film is set for a limited three-week theatrical run starting June 20 in 43 theaters across Japan.

The featured content includes the “Unit Cup Arc” from Season 3 (Episodes 35–37), along with the episode “Aikatsu Restaurant” (Season 3, Episode 39), which will be screened as part of the compilation. Exclusive bonus footage will also be shown, and fans can look forward to newly recorded interview segments featuring the idols sharing behind-the-scenes insights.

The franchise began in October 2012 with the original Aikatsu! TV anime, which aired from October 2012 to March 2016. It was followed by a series of successors: Aikatsu Stars! (April 2016 – March 2018), Aikatsu Friends! (April 2018 – September 2019), Aikatsu on Parade! (October 2019 – March 2020), and Aikatsu Planet! (January – June 2021). The latest project, Aikatsu Academy!, launched in July 2024 and centers on the virtual activities of Aikatsu idols, primarily showcased through YouTube.
