A brand-new anime has been announced as a sequel to the Starlight Project series. Launched in 2017, Starlight Project is a multimedia franchise that has expanded across stage musicals and anime. For this new installment, animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus.

In early summer, a special exhibition was held to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Revue Starlight. Spanning anime, stage productions, live performances, and games, the exhibition brought together nine years of Starlight history, highlighting a franchise that continues to transcend media boundaries.
