The new Minky Momo OVA, titled Fairy Princess Minky Momo: Akogare no Yume e -Magokoro no Duo-, is set to be released in theaters in 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and a “super special report” have also been unveiled.
“Fairy Princess Minky Momo: Akogare no Yume e -Magokoro no Duo-” is a special theatrical screening version of a completely new OVA produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ashi Productions.

The first Fairy Princess Minky Momo TV series aired in 1982, with Mami Koyama voicing Momo. A second series followed in 1992, starring Megumi Hayashibara as a new version of the character. Both TV series are currently available on Crunchyroll:
