Japanese boy group WOLF HOWL HARMONY—composed of RYOJI, SUZUKI, GHEE, and HIROTO—have released the music video for ‘BAKUON’, the lead track from their first full-length album ‘WOLF’, out now as of March 12, 2025. The group, formed a year and a half ago, is part of the EXILE TRIBE and has been making waves in the music scene, with regular media appearances, including a radio show on J-WAVE and a column in VOCE magazine.
The ‘BAKUON’ music video is a high-energy collaboration with LIFULL ALT-RHYTHM, a renowned dance group from Japan’s D.LEAGUE. Set in an abandoned, dystopian-style location, the video highlights WOLF HOWL HARMONY’s strongest dance performance yet, choreographed by Naoya Nagai. Directed by the visionary YERD, the video employs drone footage, unique camera angles, and rapid edits to symbolize the group’s ambition to lead a new musical movement.
The group sees ‘BAKUON’ as a turning point, with producer Chaki Zulu crafting a dynamic track with intense tempo shifts to amplify their distinct vocal and rap performance. Members of LIFULL ALT-RHYTHM praise the choreography as a blend of power, speed, and unique hand gestures that reinforce the group’s evolving identity.
“Collaborating on this video with LIFULL ALT-RHYTHM allowed for a chain reaction of creativity, making this the proudest work in our history as WOLF HOWL HARMONY so far! We hope this video will kickstart a new movement, so be sure to check it out!” the group stated.
