SPYAIR Releases HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle Theme Song Music Video!

Renowned Japanese rock band SPYAIR have posted a video clip for their new song “Orange” on their official YouTube channel. The song is taken from their latest EP of the same name, which was released in Japan on February 14. Upon its release, the EP reached number 12 in the Oricon daily album chart!

SPYAIR‘s “Orange” has been selected as the theme song for the HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle movie. Since creating the opening theme “Imagination” for the first season of the TV anime series in 2014, SPYAIR has continued to contribute to the Haikyu!! series with the second season’s opening theme “I’m A Believer” in 2015, and the fourth season’s ending theme “One Day” in 2020.

The single will also include new versions of SPYAIR‘s past Haikyu!! theme songs as coupling tracks.

Formed in 2005 with original members. Since their major debut in 2010, they have gained popularity with their active releases and overwhelming live performances. In April 2023, YOSUKE will join as a new vocalist, creating the current structure. FINAL anime film’s first of two parts, is subtitled “Gomisuteba no Kessen” (The Dumpster Battle). Crunchyroll is streaming all four TV anime seasons of the Haikyu!! adaptation and describes the series as follows:

Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
