First Love is Never Returned (FLiNR) is back with a track that fizzes like soda and stings like summer love. Their new single, “Sparkling Summer 微炭酸”, is a bright, bittersweet anthem built on digital beats, R&B flavor, and the band’s first-ever live horn section, performed by members of fellow group Emerald.

Like a cold drink on a hot night, “Sparkling Summer 微炭酸” delivers a dose of sharp joy and soft nostalgia — perfect for long drives, late texts, and feelings that are hard to name. It’s a sonic snapshot of heatwaves, golden hour, and the tension between excitement and memory.

FLiNR first caught ears with tracks like “POP OUT! III” and the Heatseekers Top 5 hit “Our March 僕らの行進曲”. With frontman Kazuki Ishida’s emotionally layered vocals (refined through classical voice studies in New York), the band has carved out a unique space between pop polish and soulful introspection.
“This is our first time writing a song that really captures summer head-on,” FLiNR shares. “Whether it’s blasting in your headphones during a heatwave or playing while you’re driving somewhere new, we hope Sparkling Summer 微炭酸 becomes part of your scene this season.”
