MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026, Japan’s largest music awards ceremony, officially announced the nominees for its 2026 edition on April 30 during a presentation held at TOKYO NODE in Tokyo.
The event aims to promote Japanese music to a global audience and is organized by CEIPA, an organization bringing together Japan’s five major music industry groups.
The main ceremony will take place on June 13, 2026, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO. Ahead of the awards show, several concerts and special events will be held across the city as part of MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN WEEK from June 5 to June 13.
Among the major nominees this year are Kenshi Yonezu, Fujii Kaze, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, HANA and Sakanaction.
