Mr. Osomatsu Anime 10th Anniversary Event Announced for June 6

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime Mr. Osomatsu, a special event titled “10th ANNIVERSARY OSOMATSUSAN SPECIAL 6DAYS Opening Festival” will be held on June 6 at three venues in Japan: Shinjuku Piccadilly (Tokyo), Marunouchi Piccadilly (Tokyo), and Kawasaki Cinecittà (Kanagawa), with a total of six performances.

The anime reached its 10th anniversary on October 6, 2025. For this special festival, 11 cast members will be split into “older brothers” and “younger brothers” teams and will appear across different screenings. The event will feature screenings of previously unaired episodes from seasons 4 and 13, as well as episode 3, which was voted number one in a fan and staff ranking of favorite season 4 episodes.

A special highlight will be a full cast appearance at Marunouchi Piccadilly. Advance ticket lottery applications open today, April 24, via the official Mr. Osomatsu fan club.

Additionally, from June 6 for six consecutive days, theaters across Japan will screen episodes 4, 13, and 3 in limited-time showings. Special visitor bonuses will also be distributed, with details to be announced later.

The four seasons of “Mr. Osomatsu“, along with the movie, are available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The platform describes the series as follows:

Mr. Osomatsu is based off of the gag manga series Osomatsu-kun by Fujio Akatsuka, and ran from 1962 to 1969. The series features a set of sextuplets, the Matsuno brothers, with Osomatsu being the oldest brother and leader of the group.
