The TV anime Matsurika Kanriden will start broadcasting in January 2027. Along with the date, the teaser visual, cast, and staff were announced. Rie Takahashi and Nobunaga Shimazaki will return from the original voice drama and PV.

A special collaboration visual was also revealed, featuring The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom, Yowaki MAX Reijo Nano ni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta, and Matsurika Kanriden, all published under Kadokawa’s B’s Log label.

The Matsurika Kanriden light novels have been published since July 2017 under Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG Bunko label, with 18 volumes released. The manga adaptation by Waka Takase has been serialized in Monthly Princess magazine since August 2018.
The story follows a commoner who rises quickly in the Inner Palace thanks to her good memory and a romantic encounter with the Emperor.
