The Magical Girls Festival is returning to New York City for its third annual edition. The fan-organized event will take place on September 26, 2026, at 5-2-A @ Industry City in Brooklyn, New York.
Described as the largest fan-organized event for magical girls in the United States, the Magical Girls Festival brings together anime fans, artists, vendors, cosplayers, special guests, and members of the magical girl community for a full day dedicated to the genre.

First established in 2024, the Magical Girls Festival was created as a dedicated space for fans of magical girl anime and manga. The event is organized by Moonies Club, a creative production company focused on inclusive, community-centered events and media.

Christine Marie Cabanos and Carrie Savage Join the 2026 Lineup
One of the highlights of this year’s event will be the appearance of two special guests: Christine Marie Cabanos and Carrie Savage.
Christine Marie Cabanos is known to anime fans as the English voice of Madoka Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She has also voiced Sailor Saturn in the English dub of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, as well as Mako Mankanshoku in Kill la Kill and characters in series such as One Piece.
Carrie Savage is also joining the festival with an impressive anime voice-acting background. Among her roles are the Mokonas from xxxHolic and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, as well as Junko Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She has also voiced characters including Kaya in One Piece and Lisanna Strauss in Fairy Tail.
Both guests are scheduled to be available for autographs and photo opportunities from 10 AM to 7 PM.
A Special Celebration of Madoka Magica
One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 festival will be a special spotlight panel celebrating the 15th anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
The series first became a major name in the magical girl genre thanks to its unique combination of traditional magical girl elements, darker storytelling, memorable characters, and striking visual direction.
Having Christine Marie Cabanos and Carrie Savage at the festival makes the anniversary celebration even more special, as both voice actresses have important connections to the franchise.
