Known as “Kyomafu,” the festival brings together anime fans from across Japan and around the world in Kyoto, a city renowned for its cultural heritage. This 2026 edition marks the 15th anniversary of the event. Kyomaf continues to support the growth of the content industry in the Kansai region by encouraging new creative businesses, nurturing talent, strengthening Kyoto’s global cultural image, and attracting a younger generation of visitors.

As of April 17, exhibitor applications for booth stages are officially open. The main venues will host a wide range of activities, including exhibition booths, live stage events featuring voice actors, and a themed “character café” offering food and drinks inspired by popular works. Visitors can also enjoy traditional craft workshops, a merchandise shop selling exclusive goods based on the main visual, and dedicated areas for cosplay photography.
