The YouTube anime Koala’s Diary, written by Yuami, is set to continue its distribution in 2026. A second key visual for the series has also been unveiled. Volume 1 is scheduled for release in January 2026 and will be available from January 8 at 8:00 p.m.
Additionally, the opening theme song for January has been confirmed as “Niji to (Swing ver.)”, a new arrangement of the original track by Punipuni Denki, featuring Kan Sano.

Koala’s Diary first began serialization on Yuami’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on June 11, 2021. The anime adaptation will be directed by Takao Kato, feature character designs by Chiharu Hara, and be produced by Studio MOTHER.
