Kinuginu no Hanayuki” is a ghost story anime that weaves a tragic romance from the Heian period, blending echoes of the past with the present. One day, Tokimasa unexpectedly seeks out the home of the woman he once abandoned, only to find her decayed remains still inside accompanied by an eerie, drifting light. Terrified by the vengeful spirit of the woman who died resenting him, Tokimasa turns to the onmyoji Tadayuki Kamo for help. The work is grounded in meticulous historical research, bringing authenticity to its chilling tale.
