The upcoming KAGURABACHI anime has revealed that Katsuyuki Konishi will voice Togo Shiba. Alongside the casting announcement, a new character visual and trailer for Shiba have also been released.
The series will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll, excluding select Asian territories.
In addition, new details have been announced for the KAGURABACHI Anime World Tour Part 1, which begins in July. The tour will include an additional premiere screening at Otakon, while Anime NYC has also received new event updates.
Produced by Cypic, the highly anticipated series is scheduled to premiere in April 2027.

Character Introduction – Togo Shiba:
A veteran sorcerer and long-time friend of the Rokuhira family. Following Kunishige’s death, he helps Chihiro in his quest for revenge. Despite his easygoing nature, his true strength is immeasurable. He used to be a member of the Kamunabi, the government’s sorcerer organization.

Global Release and World Tour
A global rollout has also been confirmed in partnership with MUSE and SMG Holdings, among others.
Before the full release, a Kagurabachi World Tour will begin in summer 2026, featuring special preview screenings of the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 across multiple international locations. The tour will conclude in Japan in spring 2027 with the first full screening of Episode 1 ahead of the official broadcast.

STORY:
Flames of resolve, kindled by hatred.
Chihiro Rokuhira is a boy who aspires to become a swordsmith, and took daily training under his father Kunishige, a renowned swordsmith. Their days, once filled with laughter, are brutally torn apart by an attack from the mysterious sorcerer organization, the Hishaku.
