The character PV for Jan Akiyama, the main protagonist of the TV anime IRON WOK JAN by Shinji Saijō, has been released. The character is voiced by Kikunosuke Toya.
The anime is being produced by TROYCA, with Ei Aoki serving as director, and is currently scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Additional character PVs are also on the way: Kiriko Gobancho’s video will be released on April 30, followed by Takao Kokonogi’s on May 7.

“Iron Wok Jan!!” is “Cooking is a game!”, a Chinese food manga known for its intense and unconventional cooking battles. The story follows a young chef with a strong personal creed who faces many unique and rival chefs.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) from 1995 to 2000. In 2025, the series celebrates its 30th anniversary. The original series is now available in a 13-volume digital edition. Sequels and spin-off have also been published, including Iron Wok Jan! R: The Summit Operations and Iron Wok Jan! 2nd. The total circulation of the franchise has exceeded 10 million copies.
