The second cast reveal PV for the original TV anime Inherit the Winds has been released. The anime is set to premiere in January 2027. Before the TV broadcast, a theatrical advance version will be shown in Japan for a limited two-week run starting November 13.
Aniplex, Live2D, and Drive are collaborating on the project, aiming to explore new forms of visual expression through the use of Live2D technology.

The anime is set in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu era. A soldier who has lost his memory is taken under the wing of the renowned Shinsengumi member Sōji Okita. Okita gives him a new identity, naming him Junsuke Tachikawa. Amidst the Mibu soldiers, Junsuke begins a new chapter in his life.
