The original TV anime Inherit the Winds has unveiled a new seasonal illustration for summer.
The project is an original story created by Aniplex and Yutaka Narui, with Tomohiro Kawamura directing the anime. Animation production is being handled by Live2D Creative Studio and Drive.

The anime is set in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu era. A soldier who has lost his memory is taken under the wing of the renowned Shinsengumi member Sōji Okita. Okita gives him a new identity, naming him Junsuke Tachikawa. Amidst the Mibu soldiers, Junsuke begins a new chapter in his life.
