I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too Celebrates 5 Years with Special Projects

The total circulation of the series has reached 4.5 million copies.

Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel posted a video of Miku, the original author of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too, singing the TV anime’s ending theme, “Hachimitsu”, originally by Shikao Suga.

The fifth anniversary project included:

  • Two voice drama videos on YouTube: “Christmas Edition” (Dec 2024) and “New Year’s Edition” (Jan 2025)
  • LINE stamps released in August 2025
  • A “jumbo-sized artwork” by illustrator Rein Kuwashima, soon to be completed

The series, published by Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko since December 2018, has reached a total circulation of 4.5 million copies, including spin-offs and manga adaptations.

The anime aired 13 episodes from April to June 2023. A new TV special based on volume 5 of the novel will air in Japan on March 30 at 24:00 JST (March 31 at 0:00).

All his life, Yuuya has been bullied at school and neglected by his parents. After moving into his late grandfather’s home, he discovers a strange door that seems to be calling out to him.
