A new visual has been released for HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Interactive Movie to celebrate its “big hit.” The film premiered on February 21 and debuted in eighth place at the Japanese box office during its opening weekend.

The first season of the anime, directed by Katsumi Ono and produced by A-1 Pictures, premiered in October 2020 and was simulcast on Funimation. Crunchyroll streams both this series and its 2023 sequel, providing the following story description:
Legendary rap group The Dirty Dawg could have taken Japan by storm, but then they broke up. Now each member fights in one of the four rival groups. Battles for turf are fought with rap and the Hypnosis Mic, a microphone that can affect the human spirit.
