Miki Yoshikawa’s Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires manga is officially getting a TV anime adaptation. A teaser visual has also been released to celebrate the announcement.
Commenting on the anime adaptation, Yoshikawa shared her excitement about seeing the series come to life. She described the manga as having a somewhat dark yet beautiful atmosphere, adding that she believes it is a perfect fit for anime.
She also highlighted the contrast between the bright daytime scenes and the dark nighttime setting, which she pays special attention to when drawing the manga. Yoshikawa hopes viewers will enjoy the moonlit atmosphere and, above all, fall in love with the vampire characters.

Miki Yoshikawa began serializing the original manga in Kodansha‘s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in October 2021. The series currently has six published volumes.
Kodansha also publishes the English-language version of the manga through its K MANGA platform, where the story is described as follows:
Every family has its own “secrets”… Meet our protagonist, Shota Minamoto, a junior-high student who also happens to be an orphan in a children’s home. One day, he was adopted by a family living in a luxurious, Japanese-style estate. Welcomed warmly by them all, Shota started letting his guard down, but this family had a “secret” that the world could never know. A new work from the creator of “The Cuckoo’s Fiance” showcasing a different kind of “family.” Thus begins a cozy, bloody love comedy!
