Yuka Oshima’s Haru to Gen ~ 70-sei, Hajimete no Kosodate ~ is being adapted into a TV anime. The anime will begin broadcasting on TV Kanagawa in January 2027. A teaser visual and the main staff have also been revealed.

The story follows Gen, a 70-year-old man who has lived alone for decades after divorcing his wife and leaving his family. After his estranged daughter Sakura passes away, Gen becomes the guardian of her 3-year-old daughter, Haru.
As Gen learns to care for his energetic granddaughter, he begins to rediscover the importance of family and the bonds between generations.
