The fifth installment of Girls und Panzer das Finale is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on October 9. For the first time in the series, the film will also be screened in Dolby Cinema, alongside other formats including Dolby Atmos, 4DX, MX4D, and standard screenings.

The first Movie Ticket Card for Part 5, which comes with a clear file featuring the teaser visual, will go on sale on March 27. The ticket will be available at participating theaters, major online retailers, and the MOVIE WALKER STORE. The same item will also be sold at the AnimeJapan 2026 booth of Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures, held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29.
It has also been announced that a pilot version of the spin-off manga adaptation GIRLS und PANZER: PRINCESS SAMURAI will be screened alongside the fourth act of Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu!, which opens on April 10. The animation will be produced by Actas, the studio behind the Girls und Panzer anime series.

Meanwhile, special theater bonuses have been revealed for the ongoing screenings of Act 3. During the third week, audiences will receive one of three newly illustrated mini colored papers, while the fourth week will feature a randomly distributed set of 100 four-panel manga bookmarks.
To celebrate the release of Act 4, a stage greeting event featuring members of the main cast will take place on April 11 at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo.
Finally, a special event titled « Girls und Panzer: More Lucky Carnival! » will be held on June 28 at Yurakucho Asahi Hall in Tokyo to celebrate the end of the film’s theatrical run. The fastest advance ticket lottery opened today, March 15 at 1:00 PM, through eplus.
“GIRLS und PANZER MOTTO LOVE LOVE SAKUSEN DESU!” has been serialized in Monthly Comic Alive (KADOKAWA) since 2013. This series offers a glimpse into the unseen daily lives of students dedicated to tankery, focusing on the Oarai Girls’ Academy team and their interactions with rival schools.
