« Ganbatte Ikimasshoi » (give it all) received the Bocchan Bungaku Award in 1995 and served as the inspiration for a 1998 live-action film as well as a 2005 drama series. Set in Matsuyama City, the anime film acknowledges the city’s cooperation in its credits. The story revolves around a group of high school girls who are engaged in the sport of rowing.
