Additional cast members for the TV anime From Far Away, based on Kyoko Hikawa’s manga, have been revealed along with a new key visual, the opening and ending theme songs, and the main promotional video. The anime will premiere on October 4.
The opening theme song is “Tokoko” by GNJB, while the ending theme song is “Hikari no Soba de” by the guitarless four-piece band Nanashi no Taro.

From Far Away was originally serialized in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume from September 1991 to October 2002. The series was later compiled into 14 volumes, with over 4 million copies in circulation.

On her way home from school one day, Noriko is unexpectedly plunged into a strange and extraordinary fantasy world. Her troubles compound exponentially when she is rescued and befriended by a handsome young man by the name of Izark.
