Haruka Shiraishi has joined the cast of the TV anime Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! as Hisako Kotobuki. A new character trailer and character visual for Hisako were also unveiled. Based on the original manga by Muchimaro, the anime is scheduled to premiere this October.

The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022. The 12th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on March 17, 2026. The series is published by Kodansha. The series also won first place in the print manga category at the Next Manga Awards in 2023.
