The TV anime Even a Replica Can Fall in Love is set to premiere on April 7 on TOKYO MX and other channels. Alongside the broadcast announcement, the production team unveiled additional cast members, details about the opening and ending themes, a second key visual, and a new promotional video.
The opening theme, titled “Refrain” will be performed by the three-piece band shytaupe, while the ending theme, “Awa” will be sung by asmi.
It has also been announced that Morohoshi and Suzuki, along with Takada and Hidaka, will appear on the KADOKAWA booth stage at AnimeJapan 2026, which will be held on March 28.

On March 22, the first episode of the anime will be pre-streamed on the official YouTube channel KADOKAWAanime.
That same day, an advance screening of episode one will take place at the cafeteria “Community & Dining Space Chaki Fish” inside Shizuoka City Hall in Shizuoka Prefecture. The event will include a talk show featuring the original author and director Ryuichi Kimura. Admission is free, and 80 attendees will be selected via lottery.
