Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway Anime Film Adds Guest Stars

Based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama.

The official website of the new Detective Conan movie has announced that actress Mei Hata will have a guest voice role in the film. The new film is titled “Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway“. It is the 29th movie in the long-running Detective Conan series. The film will open in Japan on April 10, 2026.

Last week, it was also announced that actor Ryuisei Yokohama will appear in the movie as a guest voice actor.

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan manga, known as Case Closed in English by Viz Media, debuted in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. As of October 2024, the series spans 106 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation premiered in 1996, followed by the release of the first anime film in 1997.

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
