A teaser visual has been revealed for 30-go Satsujin Jiken, a special project celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Detective Conan TV anime, based on Gosho Aoyama’s original manga. The special episode will air in Japan on September 25, 2026.
Actress Elaiza Ikeda will join the cast as a guest voice actress, playing Toko Satomi, an expert who examines documents and money to determine whether they are genuine or counterfeit.
An original anime titled “The Misohitojima Murder” has also been announced. The project will be a viewer-participation mystery, allowing fans to try to figure out who the culprit is. This will be the first anime in Detective Conan history to let viewers solve the mystery themselves. The script was written by Takahiro Okura, while a rough sketch by director Yasuichiro Yamamoto, who created the project, has also been revealed.
Several other projects celebrating the 30th anniversary of Detective Conan have been announced.

Starting September 5 at 8:30 PM JST, a special selection of 30 episodes featuring character-related stories will be available.
A collaboration with YouTuber HIKAKIN has also been announced. On his YouTube channel, HikakinTV, fans will be able to watch all 42 episodes of Season 1 of Detective Conan together with HIKAKIN. The special livestream will begin at 5 PM JST each day from September 20 to 23. The archive will remain available until December 31.
At the Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair 2026, taking place at Miyakomesse in Kyoto on September 19 and 20, special Conan greetings will also be held. More information is available on the official 30th anniversary website.
On November 21, a special event will take place at Yamashita Pier in Kanagawa, featuring fireworks alongside the opening and ending themes from the Detective Conan anime. Official advance ticket sales are available on the event’s official website.
A two-hour special program in collaboration with the variety show “Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW Kiwami” has also been announced. It is scheduled to air around December 2026, with more details to be revealed later.
